Dr. Sprinkle received both her MSW and PHD from the University of South Carolina at Columbia . She has social work practice experience in the fields of health, mental health, and program evaluation.
Dr. Sprinkle has taught in BSW and MSW programs, as well as in on and off-campus satellite courses. Her research interests include child and adolescence violence prevention, women and addictions, eating disorders, and risk and resiliency.
Dr. Sprinkle has also conducted research on student perceptions of instructor/professor effectiveness and has an article forthcoming from this study. In addition, she is currently working with several colleagues on a risk and resiliency in Appalachia pilot project. |
